Back to our roots
It all began after a trip to Algeria. Although we had visited the country several times in our youth, it was on going back recently that we felt a deep connection with our heritage and culture.
Back in France, one question stayed with us: how could we share our love of Algeria with others while staying modern, urban and elegant? We wanted to go beyond the simple souvenir garment. That is how the idea of a clothing brand inspired by the heritage and culture of Algeria was born.
Between art, history and modernity
Lacasbah Paris was born from this desire to bring together the contemporary wardrobe and centuries of history. To bring this vision to life, we work with our artist, Fanny Illustration. Each illustration is drawn and then hand-painted in France: iconic monuments, landscapes and cities, from Annaba to Sétif, and the alleyways that inspired our name.
Our mission
Wearing a Lacasbah Paris design means claiming a heritage and telling a story. We think of our clothes as bridges between generations, cultures and places.
